To achieve a natural fish skin look Paul cut strips of individual
scales which were attached and molded to the form.

Here you can see the molded scales and the detailing of the
airbrush that softly blended the tones.

A variation on the detailing of the hip area using molded
strips to suggest segmentation as in a serpentine creature.

Each segment was molded individually over the fiberglass form
and then attached underneath. The Fiberglas form has been removed
and the leather is self-supporting.
