Inspired by ancient stories told to me Paul molded my face and our son's into the leather when it was wet- formed around the cow skull. The hand painted images come from my dreams .

Two wet-formed leather faces balance each other over a landscape of layered and upholstered leathers.

Inspired by the ancient Celtic myths of our ancestors we combined the natural antler with the free form molded face. The face mold is a fiberglass cast of Paul's face.

Paul carved a beautiful eagle head in pine and molded the wet leather around it, as well Later he removed the wood block. The feathers were tooled and his face molded in the lightweight leather.
