LEATHER WALL

 PLANNING the WALL

In the last photo Paul was standing on a table trying to get an overall view of this 18' wide x 9 high wall. We drew a large paper pattern that was divided into nine sections and attached to the wall of our studio.

 

 

 
 The theme was a country wide view from western mountains to eastern fields. To achieve a depth we used layers of heavy cardboard that was cut to shape and layered on the panels.

 
 Here Paul is cutting out the masonite layer that will eventually be covered in leather for the door panel.
